G-LIGHT lighting under guardrails

G-LIGHT is an innovative, passive safety lighting system that fits over all restraint systems and enhances them without affecting their operation or performance.

The G-Light system - developed by RoadLink and distributed by SOLOSAR in France - consists of an extruded PVC film (customisable), LED strips, a high transparency bi-component polyurethane resin module with anti-UV and anti-yellowing filter, internal cables ensuring the continuous supply of the Khatod GuardLED asymmetrical road optical series and DTP connectors.

Among its strong points: a simple and quick installation on existing road equipment, the elimination of singular lighting points in favour of a continuous solution with consequent advantages for road users and site personnel, better visibility on the traffic side, energy saving and a significant reduction in light pollution, to conclude with reduced operating costs also thanks to the adoption of high-performance and highly durable materials.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

This device is a 2-metre long module, connectable in series, composed of :

Extruded PVC sheath with a high degree of flexibility that guarantees good resistance to torsion
- SMD 3030 NICHIA PCB KaptonTM LED strip with high conductivity driven at 500mA/meter composed of 78 LEDS/lm
- Sealed with a two-component polyurethane resin with high resistance against yellowing and extreme temperatures (-140° C to +90° C)
- Cables inside the sheath to ensure a continuous power supply
- Khatod asymmetric lens for LED lighting
- DTP DEUTSCH IP-68 2-pin connectors 

1 electrical box every 130 metres with a dimmer to regulate LED voltage and brightness

INSTALLATION TOOLS

• 3 types of screws 8x20, 8x30 and 8x50 on the standard fixing to adapt to all configurations

• No direction of installation, G-LIGHT adapts itself...

OPTION : 

• 2m module with RGB colour LEDs to generate customised lighting according to a given situation. The operating principle is simple. The colour changes are obtained by mixing 3 primary colours. Red, green and blue. Hence the abbreviation RGB for R (red), G (green) and B (blue). It is up to you to make sense of the road by using precise colour codes.
• It is possible to add a sensor fixed on the upper part of the arm called Emergency LED which creates a luminous warning when somebody is driving in the wrong way for example and sends the information to the security headquarters: please consult us.
